Quick trip to Dallas

We were in Dallas last month for a business trip and took advantage of staying a couple of extra days with family there.

Lunch at a Farmer’s Market that wasn’t a traditional farmer’s market but had delicious eats. Especially the sweet treat at this Italian bakery.

The outside library across from the art museum seems like a brilliant idea. We enjoyed the museum first, walked across the green space to browse the library that was lined with benches, bistro tables and chairs under shade trees to enjoy a read.

We finished our visit to this part of Dallas with a stroll through the sculpture garden. There is no admission to the art museum but the sculpture garden is $10.00

A quick stop to the Bishop-Arts District and The Emporium to try their pies. We bought one slice of each kind – 7 in total. Delicious all!

Next stop, old Fort Worth and a quick trip to Waco and Magnolia Market. So much to catch up on, so little time.
